What we find in the book of Isaiah is that when Messiah comes, He brings with Him a kingdom. He comes to provide a home and haven for God’s people under His gracious and loving care. This Advent we will focus on several passages in Isaiah where God’s promises are fulfilled in Christ and in His second coming. While we long to find peace, comfort, and belonging this time of year, our ultimate Christmas gift is our citizenship in heaven. This is the home Jesus has come to bring, as we are brought back from exile, and ushered into our eternal home where we will live and reign with Him forever. We pray you will find comfort and consolation this season at Bethany as we reflect on the good news of Christ’s incarnation and our expectation of His return.
