Epiphany

Join us at Bethany this month for the season of Epiphany, as we celebrate the visit of the Magi, the Baptism of Jesus, the first miracle at Cana turning water into wine, and the Transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor. Blessed Epiphany!

All Saints Day

Join us at Bethany this Sunday as we celebrate All Saints Day.

“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”  – Revelation 7

Reformation Sunday

Join us for worship at Bethany on Reformation Sunday, Oct. 25th, at 9am. A celebration reception will immediately follow in the fellowship hall at 10:30 am.

A Reformation Rally will also take place later in the day at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeff City at  3pm. All are welcome to attend.

A Man Named Martin

Join us at Bethany in October for a new video series entitled, “A Man Named Martin”. This is the first in a series of three documentaries produced for the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, which will culminate on Oct. 31, 2017. The series will feature the life and times of the religious reformer Martin Luther, from his humble beginnings in Germany to his rediscovery of the Gospel and beyond.
